Milhares de dádivas transitam na Terra diariamente.

Vemos aquelas que se constituem do dinheiro generoso que alimenta as boas obras; as que se definem por glórias da arte enriquecendo a mente popular; as que se erigem sobre os louros da palavra traçando caminhos para o encontro fraternal entre as criaturas; e aquelas outras, inumeráveis, que consubstanciam a amizade de quem as oferece ou recolhe. Todas elas, demonstrações da bondade humana, são abençoadas na Vida Superior. Entretanto, uma existe, inconfundível entre todas, da qual nós, os seres em evolução no Orbe Terrestre, não conseguimos prescindir…

Ao alcance de todos, ela se expressa por exigência inarredável do caminho de cada um.

Desejamos referir-nos ao amor, sem o qual ninguém logra subsistir.

Além disso, o amor é a força que valoriza qualquer dádiva, tanto quanto a maneira de dar.

Muitos de nossos irmãos necessitados, junto de quem praticamos o ideal da beneficência, decerto agradecem o concurso materializado que lhes possamos ofertar, mas quantas vezes estimariam, acima de tudo, receber uma bênção de solidariedade e otimismo que lhes restaure a alegria de viver e o conforto de trabalhar!

Reflitamos de igual modo nos companheiros temporariamente apresados no cárcere das paixões e reconheceremos que o mundo tem tanta necessidade de amor quanto de luz.

Meditemos nisso, e, diante da parte de trabalho que nos compete, na construção do Reino de Deus entre os homens, seja à frente dos felizes ou dos imperfeitamente felizes, dos justos ou dos menos justos, comecemos por estender com as dádivas de nossas mãos aquelas outras que nos é lícito nomear como sendo o favor do sorriso fraterno, o benefício da boa palavra, o empréstimo da esperança e o donativo do entendimento.

Thousands of gifts transit the Earth daily.

We see those that are made up of generous money that nourishes good works; those defined by glories of art enriching the popular mind; those that are built on the laurels of the word, tracing paths for the fraternal encounter between creatures; and those innumerable others that substantiate the friendship of those who offer or receive them. All of them, demonstrations of human kindness, are blessed in the Higher Life. However, one exists, unmistakable among all, which we, the beings evolving in the Earth Orb, cannot do without…

Within everyone's reach, it is expressed by the steadfast demand of each one's path.

We wish to refer to love, without which no one can survive.

Furthermore, love is the force that values ​​any gift as much as the way of giving.

Many of our brothers in need, with whom we practice the ideal of charity, are certainly grateful for the materialized assistance that we can offer them, but how many times would they appreciate, above all, receiving a blessing of solidarity and optimism that restores to them the joy of living and the comfort to work!

Let us reflect in the same way on the companions temporarily imprisoned in the prison of passions and we will recognize that the world needs love as much as it needs light.

Let us meditate on this, and, in the face of the part of the work that is ours, in the construction of the Kingdom of God among men, whether in front of the happy or the imperfectly happy, the just or the less just, let us begin by extending with the gifts of our hands those others that we are allowed to name as the favor of a fraternal smile, the benefit of a good word, the loan of hope and the donation of understanding.
