“Aliás, será só com o dinheiro que se podem secar lágrimas e dever-se-á ficar inativo, desde que se não tenha dinheiro? Todo aquele que sinceramente deseja ser útil a seus irmãos, mil ocasiões encontrarão de realizar o seu desejo.” Cap. 13: 6.
Abracemos, felizes, as atividades obscuras que a vida nos reserve.
Grande é o sol que sustenta os mundos e grande é a semente que nutre os homens.
Engenheiros planificam a estrada, consultando livros preciosos no gabinete e, a breve tempo, larga avenida pode surgir da selva.
Entretanto, para que a realização apareça, tarefeiros, abnegados removem estorvos do solo e transpiram no calçamento.
Urbanistas esboçam a planta de enorme edifício, alinhando traços nobres, ante a mesa tranquila e é possível que arranha-céu se levante, pressuroso, acolhendo com segurança numerosas pessoas.
Todavia, a fim de que a obra se erga, esfalfam-se lidadores suarentos, na garantia dos alicerces.
Técnicos avançados estruturam as máquinas que exaltam a indústria e, com elas, é provável se eleve o índice da evolução de povos inteiros.
No entanto, para que isso aconteça, é indispensável que operários valorosos exponham as próprias vidas, junto aos fornos candentes, de ferro e aço.
Negociantes de prol arregimentam os produtos da terra e, por eles, conseguem formar a economia e o sustento de grandes comunidades.
Mas semelhante vitória comercial exige que anônimos semeadores chafurdem as mãos no limo da gleba.
Não perguntes “quem sou eu?”, nem digas “nada valho”.
Honremos o serviço que invariavelmente nos honra, guardando-lhe fidelidade e ofertando-lhe as nossas melhores forças, ainda mesmo quando se expresse, através de ocupação, supostamente esquecida na retaguarda. Nos princípios que regem o Universo, todo trabalho construtivo é respeitável.

Humble Duties
“Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has given much more than those who put their gifts in the gazophilaium before.” – JESUS – Mark, 12:43.
“By the way, is it only with money that you can dry tears and should you stay inactive, as long as you don't have money? Everyone who sincerely desires to be useful to his brothers will find a thousand opportunities to fulfill his desire.” Chap. 13: 6.
Let us happily embrace the obscure activities that life has in store for us.
Great is the sun that sustains the worlds and great is the seed that nourishes men.
Engineers plan the road, consulting precious books in the study, and before long, a wide avenue may emerge from the jungle.
However, for the realization to appear, laborers, selfless, remove obstacles from the ground and sweat on the pavement.
Urban planners sketch the plan of a huge building, aligning noble features, in front of the peaceful table and it is possible that a skyscraper will rise, hastily, safely welcoming numerous people.
However, in order for the work to rise, sweaty workers struggle to guarantee the foundations.
Advanced technicians structure the machines that exalt the industry and, with them, it is likely that the rate of evolution of entire peoples will rise.
However, for this to happen, it is essential that courageous workers expose their lives, next to the hot iron and steel furnaces.
Profit traders gather the products of the land and, through them, manage to form the economy and livelihood of large communities.
But such a commercial victory requires anonymous sowers to wallow in the mud of the land.
Don't ask "who am I?" or say "I'm worthless".
Let us honor the service that invariably honors us, keeping allegiance to it and offering it our best strength, even when it is expressed, through occupation, supposedly forgotten in the rear. In the principles that govern the Universe, all constructive work is respectable.
Notice this device of Divine Law working within yourself.
You walk and think with your head held high to the glory of the firmament, yet, by yourself, you will not advance forward without humility of feet.
