Considerações de Allan Kardec
Em várias conversações tivemos ocasião de comentar os noticiários da imprensa sobre demônios e exorcismo. O assunto vem sendo muito debatido. E nós, também, num grupo grande de companheiros, não escapamos às opiniões sobre essas ocorrências.
Acontece que, em nossa reunião pública, O Livro dos Espíritos nos ofereceu a questão 131 para os estudos gerais e o espírito de nosso caro Emmanuel escreveu a página “Demônios e Exorcismo”.
O nosso amigo espiritual trata do tema, expressando-se nas mesmas considerações de Allan Kardec.

Demônios e exorcismo
Em vários setores da atualidade revive-se a figura do demônio, no estilo da Idade Média, e articulam-se processos de exorcismo a fim de lhe conjurar a presença.
Entretanto, no assunto, vale revisar os conceitos kardequianos emitidos há mais de um século.
Demônios, no sentido que a civilização corrente empresta ao vocábulo, não são seres votados pela Sabedoria Divina à prática do mal, e sim espíritos humanos que se desequilibraram em atitudes infelizes perante a vida. Podem estar domiciliados em faixas de sombra do Mundo Espiritual, em correlação com o Plano Físico ou em núcleos residenciais da Terra mesmo. Desencarnados e encarnados.
E, para entendermos o exorcismo, basta que nos detenhamos no estudo da hipnose e do reflexo condicionado para recolher as melhores conclusões quanto ao poder da influência.
O homem sempre necessitou de apoiar-se em símbolos de amor e fé, autoridade e responsabilidade para facear com segurança as forças que se lhe conservam desconhecidas.
Tanto na paisagem terrestre, quanto na paisagem espiritual, seja no estágio físico ou nos períodos de tempo, antes e depois da permanência no corpo de matéria mais densa, a personalidade humana, em determinados degraus da estrada evolutiva, frenará os impulsos de agressividade exagerada ou buscará encorajamento nas próprias fraquezas, em sinais e palavras, imagens e sons que lhe recordem os dispositivos de proteção mental a que habitualmente se submeta ou recorra, nos lances das próprias experiências.
À vista disso, é fácil compreender que o ser humano, quando fora das leis de harmonia e burilamento que nos regem os destinos, será sempre uma criatura de emoções transitoriamente deterioradas, criando tribulações no lugar em que se encontre.
E, por outro lado, não é difícil perceber que o exorcismo, na base dos agentes magnéticos e dos valores da memória, é sempre uma alavanca de emergência capaz de remover influências infelizes.
Na raiz do problema, em suma, encontramos a necessidade de considerar os chamados “espíritos das trevas” por irmãos verdadeiros, requisitando compreensão e auxílio a fim de se remanejarem do desajuste para o reequilíbrio neles mesmos. Entendendo-se ainda que o melhor e mais alto processo de transformá-los, em definitivo, será sempre a prática do amor, através da qual todos nós, os espíritos em evolução no campo terrestre, estamos sendo orientados, treinados, instruídos, educados e sublimados pela abnegação incessante dos Sábios Angélicos da Espiritualidade, em nossa marcha progressiva para Deus.

Allan Kardec's Considerations
In several conversations we had the opportunity to comment on the press reports about demons and exorcism. The matter has been much debated. And we, too, in a large group of comrades, do not escape opinions about these occurrences.
It so happens that, in our public meeting, The Spirits' Book offered us question 131 for general studies and the spirit of our dear Emmanuel wrote the page “Demons and Exorcism”.
Our spiritual friend deals with the subject, expressing himself in the same considerations as Allan Kardec.

Demons and exorcism
In various sectors of the present, the figure of the devil is revived, in the style of the Middle Ages, and exorcism processes are articulated in order to conjure his presence.
However, on the subject, it is worth reviewing the Kardecian concepts issued more than a century ago.
Demons, in the sense that current civilization lends to the word, are not beings voted by Divine Wisdom to practice evil, but human spirits that have become unbalanced in unhappy attitudes towards life. They can be domiciled in shadow bands of the Spiritual World, in correlation with the Physical Plane or in residential cores of the Earth itself. Disembodied and incarnated.
And, in order to understand exorcism, it is enough to stop at the study of hypnosis and the conditioned reflex to draw the best conclusions about the power of influence.
Man has always needed to rely on symbols of love and faith, authority and responsibility, in order to safely face the forces that remain unknown to him.
Both in the terrestrial landscape and in the spiritual landscape, whether in the physical stage or in the periods of time, before and after the permanence in the body of denser matter, the human personality, in certain steps of the evolutionary road, will curb the impulses of exaggerated aggressiveness or he will seek encouragement in his own weaknesses, in signs and words, images and sounds that remind him of the mental protection devices to which he usually submits or resorts, in the throws of his own experiences.
In view of this, it is easy to understand that the human being, when outside the laws of harmony and refinement that govern our destinies, will always be a creature of transiently deteriorated emotions, creating tribulations in the place where he finds himself.
And, on the other hand, it is not difficult to see that exorcism, on the basis of magnetic agents and memory values, is always an emergency lever capable of removing unfortunate influences.
At the root of the problem, in short, we find the need to consider the so-called "spirits of darkness" for true brothers, requesting understanding and help in order to remanage themselves from the maladjustment to the rebalancing in themselves. It is also understood that the best and highest process of transforming them, definitively, will always be the practice of love, through which all of us, the evolving spirits in the terrestrial field, are being guided, trained, instructed, educated and sublimated by the incessant abnegation of the Angelic Sages of Spirituality, in our progressive march towards God.
