Brilham áureos tempos novos,
A Inteligência domina,
Fala a Razão cristalina,
Que estuda, aclara e deduz;
A Ciência larga a Terra,
Onde refulge de rastros,
Para a conquista dos astros,
Sob o fascínio da Luz!…
No bojo do firmamento,
Do chão à face da Lua…
A pesquisa continua…
Engenhos e lumaréus!…
A Eletrônica revela
Vida mais alta e mais rica
E o Homem se comunica,
Povo a Povo, Céus a Céus!…
A Cultura pede frente,
Entre aplausos invulgares.
No Ar, no Solo, nos Mares, -
Em tudo – o apelo ao Porvir!…
De ponta a ponta do Globo,
Em vasta ascensão na História,
Clama o Cérebro – mais Glória!
Grita o Mundo – Progredir!…
Mas no concerto dos louros
Em que a ideia se embriaga,
Brado aflitivo pervaga –
O choro da multidão!…
São milhões de almas cativas
À ignorância na Terra,
Que a noite da angústia encerra
Nos vales de provação!…
A mágoa segue a penúria,
O crime instala a doença,
Lastima-se turba imensa
Encarcerada na dor!…
A legião do protesto
Volve à barbárie sombria,
Supondo na rebeldia
O facho libertador!…
A guerra distende as garras,
Surgem conflitos de sobra,
A descrença se desdobra
Em chaga descomunal…
E a força do Raciocínio
Do píncaro a que se eleva
Na barra a invasão da treva,
Nem doma a fúria do mal…
Do Alto, porém, dimana
Visão diversa das cousas,
Os mortos rebentam lousas,
Irrompem vozes do Além!…
São Mensageiros do Eterno,
Anjos do Céu sem escolta,
Trazendo Jesus de volta
Para a vitória do Bem!…
Companheiros do Evangelho,
Que o vosso Amor vibre, puro,
Edificando o Futuro
Nas leis Excelsas do Pai!…
Eis que o Cristo nos conclama,
Sob o fulgor do Cruzeiro,
Repetindo ao mundo inteiro:
—“Espíritas, educai!…”.

Golden new times shine,
intelligence dominates,
Speaks the crystalline Reason,
That studies, clarifies and deduces;
Science leaves the Earth,
Where it shines with traces,
For the conquest of the stars,

The search continues…

Electronics reveals
Higher and richer life
And man communicates,

Culture asks ahead,
Amidst unusual applause.
In the Air, in the Ground, in the Seas, -
In everything – the call to the Future!…
From end to end of the globe,
On a vast rise in history,
Cry out the Brain – more Glory!
Scream the World – Progress!…
But at the laurel concert
In which the idea is intoxicated,
Afflictive cry pervades –
The cry of the crowd!…
There are millions of captive souls
To ignorance on Earth,
That the night of anguish ends
In the valleys of trial!…
Sorrow follows penury,
Crime installs disease,
Immense crowd is lamented
Incarcerated in pain!…
The Protest Legion
Return to dark barbarism,
Assuming in rebellion
The liberating beam!…
War stretches its claws,
Conflicts abound,
disbelief unfolds
In a great deal…
And the power of Reasoning
From the peak to which it rises
In the bar the invasion of darkness,
Nor tame the fury of evil...
From Above, however, shines
Different view of things,
The dead break slates,
Voices from the Beyond!…
They are Messengers of the Eternal,
Angels of Heaven without an escort,
Bringing Jesus back
For the victory of Good!…
Gospel Companions,
May your love vibrate, pure,
building the future
In the Excellency laws of the Father!…
Behold, Christ calls us,
Under the glow of the Cruzeiro,
Repeating to the whole world:
