Compareceram à nossa reunião vários casais de visitantes e de amigos, na expectativa de receberem notícias mediúnicas dos filhos desencarnados. O Livro dos Espíritos nos deu para estudo a questão 155. Os amigos presentes fizeram comentários com muito acerto sobre os problemas da desencarnação. Na parte final dos trabalhos, o espírito de nosso Bezerra de Menezes escreveu a página Recado de Amigo, dedicada aos pais e mães presentes.

Pais amigos e abençoados corações maternos que solicitais em prece a palavra de filhos inesquecíveis!
Tende fé e serenidade.
Aguardemos.
Ofertai aos companheiros de vossos ideais, presentemente domiciliados no Mais Além, aquilo de melhor que hoje esperam receber do vosso amparo, em forma de paciência e coragem.
Alguns deles se vos apresentam aos corações, aqui mesmo, sem que vos afetem os sentidos controlados na estrutura fisiológica, e outros aguardam refazimento, a fim de se retomarem, junto de vós outros, no trabalho de amor e retribuição que vos devem.
Nossas palavras não se propõem a contemporizar, sustentando-vos a expectativa inquietante, nos círculos de saudade atormentada em que vos debateis. Aspiramos tão somente a soerguer-vos a esperança.
Cabe-nos afirmar que somos os vossos irmãos renascentes dos conflitos humanos, herdeiros de vossas lutas e de vossas lágrimas, no Plano Espiritual, compreendendo — graças a Deus — quanto vos doem os claros que vos ficaram impregnados de insatisfação e de ausência nas áreas do lar.
Esperai amando e amai os companheiros que a Divina Providência permitiu vos visitassem no mundo, por algum tempo, realizando por eles na Terra, o trabalho que efetuam por vós, na Espiritualidade Superior: a prática do bem na construção do futuro melhor.
Quanto puderdes, recordai-os, qual se os tivésseis ainda sob o olhar, acalentando-lhes as forças. E, sobretudo, configurai-os na memória não por mortos e sim por existências contínuas, estampadas no sorriso e na alegria com que vos enalteceram a vida.
Compreendei conosco: nossos filhos estão na Terra, ao nosso lado, pelos prodígios da reencarnação, e os vossos, os que vos precederam na Grande Mudança, estão na Vida Espiritual pelas bênçãos da imortalidade, entrelaçando os pensamentos com os vossos e amando-vos, cada vez mais.

Several couples of visitors and friends attended our meeting, hoping to receive mediumistic news from their discarnate children. The Spirits' Book gave us question 155 for study.
