Lembra-te dos que choraram esquecidos no silêncio e dos que sangraram de dor, para que ostentasses a tua flama de esperança, e dispõe-te a defendê-la ainda mesmo com sacrifício, para que a Terra de amanhã surja melhor.
A disciplina é guardiã de tua riqueza interior, como o ideal é a chama que te revela o caminho.
Nada amarga tanto ao coração que perder a confiança em si próprio, como alguém que se arroja às trevas depois de haver possuído a garantia da luz.
Segue aprendendo, amando e servindo…
Compadece-te dos que se recolheram à vala do pessimismo, proferindo maldições contra a vida, que é doação e bênção de Deus; socorre os que se consideram vencidos à margem da estrada, ensinando-lhes que é possível levantar para o recomeço da luta, e respeita, nos cabelos brancos que te precedem, a branda claridade que a experiência acendeu para os lidadores da frente.
Dignifica, sobretudo, a responsabilidade em ti mesmo, reconhecendo que o dever a cumprir é a Vontade do Senhor que situa, nas criaturas e circunstâncias mais próximas de nosso espírito, o serviço mais importante que nos compete realizar.
Não olvides que todos os valores da luz têm adversários na sombra e que só o trabalho incessante no bem alimenta em nossa alma o gênio da vigilância, invisível sentinela de nossa segurança e vitória.
Atravessa o dia da existência, no ingente esforço de fazer o melhor, e, construindo o bem de todos, que será sempre o nosso maior bem, sentirás na cintilação das estrelas, quando vier a noite, o enternecido beijo do Céu, preparando-te o despertar.
