Motivos para desculpar / Reasons to apologize

Reasons to apologize

“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you.” Jesus. Matthew, 5:44.

On many occasions, those who imagine you have been injured have not the slightest idea of this, since they will have acted under the compulsive action of obsession or illness.

If you were proven to have received an offense from someone, that someone will have squandered their own tranquility, starting to carry regret and remorse, in a position of suffering that you are unaware of.

In the presence of offenders, you have the opportunity to reveal understanding and benefit in matters of spiritual improvement.

The one whom you excuse today for a fault committed against you, will perhaps tomorrow be your best defender, if you fall into fault against others.

Faced with the disappointment collected from someone's behavior, put yourself in that person's place, observing if you could act differently, under the same circumstances.

Let us empower ourselves that condemning a partner who errs is to aggravate the unhappiness of those who are already sufficiently unhappy.

Fighting back from any source, even when you are only interested in unmanifest individual hurt, does not solve any problem.

Whoever actually hurts his neighbor does not know what he is doing, as he ignores the responsibilities he assumes in the law of cause and effect.

Resentment is useless, since we are all eternal spirits destined to
fraternize all of us, someday, in front of the Goodness of God.

To excuse offenses and to forget them is to get rid of disturbance and illness, standing above any shadow that is addressed to us in life, which is why, for our own benefit, Jesus warned us that any fault must be forgiven, not only seven times, but seventy times seven times.

Emmanuel Spirit, from the book Mais Perto, psychographed by Chico Xavier.
