Menos e mais / Less and more

Less and more

The less work, the more laziness.
The less effort, the more stagnation.
The less right, the more insecurity.
The less service, the more penury.
The less faith, the more mistrust.
The less charity, the more harshness.
The less understanding, the more disturbance.
The less kindness, the more intolerance.
The less diligence, the more need.
The less sympathy, the more obstacles.

The more you do for others, the more you will receive from others for your benefit.
The more helpers, the more you will be helped.
The more they learn, the more you will know.
The more you apply yourself to the good, the more the good will glorify your path.
The more you consecrate yourself to your duty, the more respect and nobility will crown you.
The more you dedicate yourself to planting faith by understanding our insignificance, before the Lord, the more faith will shine in your forehead.
The more sacrifice you can bear, the higher your own sublimation will be.
The more you humble yourself, seeking the position of the faithful servant of Divine Goodness, the more exalted you will be before the Law.
The more you bear the faults of others, using patience and affability, the more love you will conquer in those who observe and follow you.
The more you know how to lose in the illusions of Earth, by giving daily worship to the right conscience, the more you will profit in Victorious Immortality.

Let us remember the teaching of Christ “to him who has more, more will be added”.
And, increasing our good will in the work that the Lord grants us for the hours of each day, let us be convinced that we will more surely advance in the direction of our own liberation.

Emmanuel Spirit, from the book Bênções de Amor, psychographed by Chico Xavier.
