Se a tua aflição não apoia aos que te observam;
Se o pranto da queda te não auxilia a perdoar e a compreender;
Se a experiência não te ensina;
Se a chaga não te lega benefícios;
Se a tua preocupação não serve ao bem dos demais;
Se a tua responsabilidade não é sentida, vivida e sofrida;
Se a tua esperança não produz alegria para os outros;
Se a prova não é para tua alma a instrutora ideal;
Se a amargura te não faz mais doce;
E se o sofrimento não te dá mais compreensão, em verdade regressarás, apressadamente, logo depois da morte, às lutas educativas da Terra, porque a dor – a divina escultora da vida – terá sido em ti mesmo a candeia apagada em cinza espessa e vã.

If your affliction does not support those who watch you;If the cry of the fall does not help you to forgive and understand;
If experience doesn't teach you;
If the wound does not bequeath you benefits;
If your concern does not serve the good of others;
If your responsibility is not felt, lived and suffered;
If your hope does not bring joy to others;
If the test is not the ideal instructor for your soul;
