Referimo-nos à libertação da ignorância ou ao afastamento das trevas de espírito para a luz do conhecimento. Liberdade de confiar na Divina Providência, de orar com acerto, de colaborar nas atividades do bem ao próximo, com o discernimento preciso, e liberdade de examinar as revelações de caráter religioso para saber interpretá-las, segundo a iluminação do pensamento para a Vida Superior.
Se já te encontras entre aqueles que atingiram semelhante nível de independência íntima, lembra-te da misericórdia e do perdão para construir.
Todos temos amigos admiráveis pela inteligência e pela segurança interior, que se dividem pelos setores de libertação a que nos reportamos, e que ainda não alcançaram a própria sublimação.
Esse, trabalha na causa do bem comum, no entanto, ainda não se decidiu à conquista de equilíbrio nos sentimentos próprios; outro, se caracteriza pela fé robusta, mas ainda não perdeu a agressividade exagerada; aquele, revela sinais de grandeza nas atitudes pessoais, entretanto, ainda se observa escravizado às teias do apego desmedido às possibilidades transitórias do campo material; aquele outro, já transporta consigo o fulgor da palavra fácil, contudo, ainda se demora nas sombras da crítica destrutiva.
Se já consegues discernir, podes ver melhor, analisando com facilidade as características menos construtivas desse ou daquele irmão de caminhada.
Consideremos, porém, que a fim de sanar os desajustes na engrenagem de nosso relacionamento recíproco, o Senhor nos concede a bênção da compaixão.
Se anotas a presença de amigos candidatos ao discernimento maior, com as falhas naturais pelas quais se identificam, compadece-te deles e ampara-os com as forças ao teu alcance.
Ninguém conquista a láurea do aprimoramento pessoal no transcurso de apenas um dia.
Não reclames dos companheiros ainda inadaptados a entender o Amor do Cristo, asas de anjo, quando estão aprendendo a caminhar.
O Senhor, que nos permite estudar para saber, decerto que espera estejamos atentos ao exercício da compreensão e conclui, igualmente, que se já atingimos a condição de almas livres para saber melhor, estamos também na situação de cooperadores dele, habilitados a analisar e servir, conhecer e auxiliar.
