“Disse-lhe Judas: Senhor, donde vem que te hás de manifestar a nós e não ao mundo?” — João, 14: 22. (Judas, um dos doze apóstolos, cuidadosamente distinguido de Judas Iscariotes, foi também chamado Tadeu.)

Um dos fatos mais surpreendentes do Cristianismo é a posição escolhida pelo Salvador, a fim de anunciar as verdades eternas.
Não aparece Jesus em decretos sensacionais, em troféus revolucionários ou em situações de domínio. Chega em paz à manjedoura simples, exemplifica o trabalho, conversa com alguns homens obscuros de uma aldeola singela e, só com isso, prepara a transformação da Humanidade inteira.
Para o mundo inferior, todavia, a pergunta de Tadeu ainda é de plena atualidade.
As criaturas vulgares só entendem os que se impõem aos demais, ainda que, para isso, sejam compelidas a ouvir sentenças tirânicas, proferidas em tribunas sanguinolentas; apenas compreendem espetáculos que ferem a visão e gestos teatrais dos que dominam por um dia para sofrerem amanhã o mesmo processo transformador imposto ao mundo transitório ao qual se dirigem.
Jesus, todavia, falou à alma imortal. Por esse motivo, suas revelações nunca morrem. Além disso provou não ser necessária a evidência social ou econômica para o serviço de utilidade a Deus, demonstrando, ainda, não ser para isso indispensável a cidade com as arregimentações e recursos faustosos. Bastarão os princípios edificantes e simples, uma aldeota sem nome e alguns poucos amigos.
O portador da boa-vontade sabe que foi esse o material com que o Cristo iniciou a remodelação da vida terrestre.

One of the most amazing facts about Christianity is the position chosen by the Savior in order to announce eternal truths.
Jesus does not appear in sensational decrees, in revolutionary trophies or in situations of domination. He arrives in peace at the simple manger, exemplifies the work, converses with some obscure men of a simple hamlet and, with that alone, prepares the transformation of all Humanity.
For the underworld, however, Tadeu's question is still very topical.
Vulgar creatures understand only those who impose themselves on others, even if, for that, they are compelled to listen to tyrannical sentences, pronounced in bloody tribunes; they only comprise shows that hurt the vision and theatrical gestures of those who dominate for a day to suffer tomorrow the same transformative process imposed on the transitory world to which they are directed.
Jesus, however, spoke to the immortal soul. For that reason, his revelations never die. In addition, he proved that social or economic evidence is not necessary for the service of utility to God, demonstrating, still, that the city with its regimentation and sumptuous resources is not indispensable for this. Uplifting and simple principles, a nameless villager and a few friends will suffice.
The bearer of good will knows that this was the material with which the Christ began the remodeling of earthly life.
